Refund and Payment Policy – Gaatha SC Matrimony
This Refund and Payment Policy explains how payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled for services provided by Gaatha SC Matrimony, including registrations and membership plans made online or through authorized field agents.
1. Registration & Membership
Registration can be completed online or through authorized Gaatha agents.
Members can choose from Standard, Silver, or Gold membership plans, each with different validity, contact view limits, and fees as shown in the membership plan section.
Profile activation happens only after verification (by agent or online verification team).
Membership remains valid for the duration of the selected plan as mentioned on your confirmation receipt.
2. Payment Methods
You can pay the membership fee through:
Online payment gateway (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, wallet, etc.)
Cash or UPI payment to an authorized Gaatha agent
All online transactions are processed through secure and trusted payment gateways.
3. Refund Policy
Since the registration and membership process involves data processing, agent verification, and administrative costs, the membership fee is generally non-refundable once verification has started.
However, refunds will be considered under the following exceptional cases:
✅ Eligible for Refund
If the payment was made twice for the same membership/registration due to technical error.
If registration was made but Gaatha fails to verify or activate the profile within 15 working days for reasons not related to the applicant.
If the applicant cancels the registration or membership before agent verification or profile activation.
❌ Not Eligible for Refund
Once the agent has completed physical verification.
Once the profile is activated or displayed on the website.
If the applicant provides false, incomplete, or misleading information.
If the applicant voluntarily deletes or deactivates their account.
If marriage occurs through any other platform after registration.
If services are delayed due to incorrect contact details provided by the user.
4. Refund Process
If you are eligible for a refund:
a) Send a written request to gaathascmatrimony@gmail.com within 7 days of payment.
b) Include proof of payment, transaction ID, and registration/membership ID.
c) Refunds (if approved) will be processed within 10–15 working days via the original payment method.
5. Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your registration/membership any time before verification by:
Logging into your profile and selecting “Cancel Registration”, or
Emailing us at gaathascmatrimony@gmail.com with your registered mobile number.
Once verification has started, cancellation will not make you eligible for any refund.
6. Service Modifications
Gaatha reserves the right to modify its service packages, membership plans, fees, or refund conditions with prior notice on the website.
Existing users will continue under the terms applicable at the time of their registration or last membership renewal.
7. Dispute Resolution
If any dispute arises regarding payments or refunds:
Users should first contact Gaatha Support.
If unresolved, the matter will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Ernakulam, Kerala.
